Ensure employers make CPF contributions
MOST contract workers are self-employed or freelance workers, and are often the ones exploited when it comes to the Central Provident Fund (CPF), due to the lack of knowledge of the rules and wily employers who try to avoid making CPF contributions for contract workers.
This happens often in the entertainment industry, as well as for people who work as trainers for government bodies, such as schools.
The employers often do not contribute to the employees' CPF.
