- Check and ensure no buzzing sound
- Check every fret on finger board of the neck for any buzzing sound

Generally, due to string resting on 2 frets at the same time. The string is resting on 1 fret that is being barred or pressed, but unfortunately, the string also resting on next adjacent fret, so when the string is vibrating while being played, the buzzing sound came from the vibrating string hitting the 2nd fret and producing the buzzing/rattling sound.
Reason:
1) Action too low. The string is too near the fret until when finger pressed on 1 fret, the ringing or vibrating strings resting on 2 frets and rattling or buzzing on the 2nd or adjective fret.
2) Dented (notched, grooved) or worn off fret. The groove lowered the string when pressed, the groove allowed the string to be so low that it is resting on the next adjacent fret and causing the buzzing sound when the string is ringing and vibrating.
3) The frets have uneven height.
Solution
1) The low action is due to: The guitar neck is bow backward. Solution, tighten truss rod to bow forward to create some relief.
2) Dented (notched, grooved) or worn off fret: Solution, change the worn out fret. Use a capo a fret towards the body to take the worn out fret out of the equation. File down this fret to remove the dent and then level all other frets to same height.
3) The frets have uneven height. Solution, use a fret rocker to check and confirm which fret has uneven height, file them down or level all the height of all the frets throughout the entire guitar neck.
Action too high will create intonation problem.
1) The nut and the saddle is too high. File down or sand down the base of the saddle and nut.
2) The groove of the nut is too high. Solution, file down the groove of the nut
Worn out or notched fret
Loose Binding Problem
Loose Binding is a very common problem for Acoustic Guitar especially Martin Guitars. Martin did reaise that the grue used in factory is not the correct or best glue. Loose Binding is due to weather and humidity that cause the wood to have such problems
