Comparison between Hostgator and Hostinger

In order to create your own website, you need the following

1. Hosting
2. Domain Name
3. Wordpress (Content Management System)

The following is how you can start off by creating your website for free.
Free Domain Name (FreeNom)
Free Hosting (Hostinger)

You need to link the Domain Name to your Hosting and then link your Hosting to Wordpress

Simple steps to get free domain name and free hosting and download Wordpress via Hostinger.
For every New Domain Name, you have to

1. Open Freenom. freenom.com (to get free domain name)
- Key in a domain name (eg. (mindpeak.ga) -> Check Availability -> Click Get It Now
-> Scoll down and click Check Out -> Selcct 12 months free -> click use DSN

2. Open Hostinger. https://www.hostinger.com/free-hosting (to get free hosting)
- At Start Free Sign Up, key in your email, password, Website name, tick I'm not a robot
- Click Get Free Hosting -> Click either Awaiting Email Confirmation or Website Management
-> Click Ok ->
- Go to your email and click Verify Email -> Email Verified -> Click Manage Website mind-peak
-> Wordpress, Click Install Now -> key in Admin Password -> Click Install
-> After installing, you will see Congratulation, It's ready -> Click Go To Configuration Page
-> Login Wordpress by keying in your email and Password (you just created)

By now, you have gotten your domain name for free and hosting for free, downloaded your wordpress via hostinger, you are all ready to create your free website using Wordpress

Suppose you have log out already and you want to login again to continue to build on your website

Settings -> Reading -> Front Page Display (Click Static Page) -> Front Page (Select Home)

If you have the Sydney Theme installed and activated and wish to update it to the latest and fully similar to the demo version, you need to do the following steps

This will set the website exactly same as the Sydney Theme Demo version

Go to Dashboard
Appearance -> Theme - Click on Sidney Theme icon -> Import Demo data -> Import Demon Data
-> If you encounter errors, Just click again Import Demo Data -> That's it, all done

After the above step, your website will exactly look alike as the demo version.

Creating a Menu for your Home Page
- Using Category
- Using Pages

To make the created Menu to appear in the website
Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menu -> Edit Menus -> Manage Locations > Top Menu
-> Drop down, Select My Primary Menu -> Save Changes

Creating Service Section under Home Page in Sydney Theme
1. Create Service tabs under Service Plugin
2. Link the Service Plugin to Home Page Service Widget Row

Install Services Plugin 1st so that it appears of the LHS Side bar in the Dashboard of Wordpress
This is already done if you install the latest version of the Sydney Theme from aTheme

To create the Service Section in Sydney Theme using Wordpress

Setting up Service Tabs in the Service Section of Sydney Home Page

Dashboard -> Services -> Add New Services -> Title: (Key in Inspiration)
-> Copy and Paste Description -> Scroll down to Service Icon -> Click Here -> Choose a icon
-> Copy code next to it -> Go back to dashboard -> Paste code at Service Icon
-> Categories (On RHS Side Bar) -> Add New Category -> Key in (cat 1) - Enter
-> a New category called cat 1 appeard -> Tick cat 1 -> Publish

You can click Add New to create your 2nd and 3rd Service Tab
These are just 3 Tabs that will appear on Service Section of Sydney, it will not be clickable until you create a link to the pages of information.

Add Rows is for you to create widget in the row

Dashboard -> Pages -> All Pages -> Go to Home - Front Page -> Edit
-> Click Page Builder on the rigt (in order to see Add Row and Add Widget)
-> Add Row -> Set to 1 -> Insert -> Move the Row Up and Down to set into Place. Normally 1st row
-> Click Widget -> Sydney Theme Widget -> Click Service Type A widget (Now you have successfully create a row and added a Service Widget in the row)

Now you Edit the row to link the Service Widget in this row to the content in the Service Plugin

-> Hover cursor to the right side of the new row -> Click Edit -> Title (Key in Our Services)
-> Enter the Slug for your category (This is very important, you have to enter cat 1 in order for the 3 services tabs you have created in the Services Plugin to appear in the Home page Services Section, If this spelled wrongly, it will not appear as desired)
-> Done -> Update

If you were to view or refresh your website now, you should be able to see the 3 tabs in the service section in the Home Page
